Sacha [pronounced Sa-sha] was
born in a small town of Canton Ticino on the southern side of the Alps. It's right
in the heart of Europe, in a small but very exciting and interesting
country... Switzerland.
After graduating
in Biology and Physics at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland,
he pursued his scientific career and obtained a PhD in Biophysics.
He went to California and spent three years working in the Nogales
Lab at U.C. Berkeley and two years at the University of Colorado at Boulder in Andy Hoenger's lab.
He taught general Biochemistry and Physical Biochemistry to CUNY undergraduates and graduate students as a faculty member of the Chemistry dept. of City College of New York.
